NCPRO Classification Workgroup

The Academy's Nutrition Care Process Research Outcomes (NCPRO) Committee is seeking detail oriented applicants to join the NCPRO Classification Workgroup. The Classification Workgroup work to align the Nutrition Care Process Terminology (NCPT) with International Clinical Terminologies, such as SNOMED-CT and LOINC. The workgroup also collectively determines the placement and classification of new terms within the NCPT hierarchy. Individuals with a strong knowledge of NCPT and experience with EHR development are encouraged to apply. Apply by September 30, 2019 for best consideration.

Desired qualifications: 

  • Knowledge and experience using Nutrition Care Process and NCP terminology
  • Involvement in EHR design/development for hospital or clinic
  • Interest in advocating for improved nutrition terminology in SNOMED-Clinical Terms and LOINC
